About Me

I'm a multimedia journalist, using storytelling to make the world a better place. I'm especially interested in channeling stories from those usually left out of the mainstream media. I work primarily in writing and audio—producing, reporting, and editing—but also work in video, graphic design, and illustration.

I've published essays, articles, and radio pieces about addiction, mental illness and treatment, gun violence, queer activism, the arts (including marginalized groups), and gentrification. I am particularly adept at deep interviews with subjects that tackle difficult topics.
